Rory Rees is an Audit Manager at EY with five years of experience in auditing and is a CPA. A former UBC DAP student, he previously spent five years at Vancity Credit Union in various roles. Rory obtained a BA from UBC prior to attending DAP. In his free time, Rory enjoys biking and cherishing moments with his wife.

EY • Staff Accountant

I'm a Staff Accountant on the Assurance team at EY. I obtained my bachelor's degree in Finance from Queen's University and afterwards decided to pursue my CPA through the DAP program. In my free time I love to travel and the outdoors!

I am a Chartered Accountant, UBC DAP alumna (Class of April 2024), a former DAPSC member and a recipient of the CPABC Bill Johnson scholarship award. Currently, I am working at Deloitte and pursuing my CPA. Outside of work, I enjoy trekking, traveling, and movies.

Sejal Arora

Sejal is working as an auditor at KPMG and pursuing CPA. She recently graduated from DAP and did her Bachelor's in Economics and a Minor in Commerce from UBC. During her time in DAP, Sejal served as Co-President of the UBC DAP Student Club and as CPA Campus Ambassador. Before joining KPMG, Sejal got a chance to work with government as Business Intelligence Analyst Intern at Global Affairs Canada and Programs Assistant at BC Public Service. In her free time, Sejal loves to travel and dance and is always down for coffee chats :)

Jacqueline Cheung

Jacqueline joined MNP 4.5 years ago in an Accountant position and has been a manager for over a year and half. Jacqueline has been a volunteer at the Big Sisters of BC for over 8 years.

Kevin Jiang is an Accountant, Canadian Tax, at MNP. He is a recent graduate from DAP. Previously, he earned his Bachelor of Science, Biology at UBC in 2023.

Sahar Murtaza is a graduate of the UBC DAP program and has been working at Baker Tilly for a year. Although she is in the general audit and accounting sector, she has been able to explore the tax and entertainment sector of accounting.

I obtained my diploma from UBC Sauder School of Business back in 2007. Started my career with a sole practitioner back in 2007 and joined Galloway Botteselle & Company in 2017. I work with small business owners, professionals and healthcare practitioners in Greater Vancouver.
